Apps SOLVED: ATV3 Youtube not recording view history

My AppleTV 3 Youtube channel isn't registering any video I watch into my view history.

I'm logged in and everything, subscriptions and everything is fine, just nothing I watch on it shows up in my history.



Things I watch on the mac DO show up on the appleTV youtube history, but not on the ATV itself.



Anyone else seeing problems like this?

Do your selections and libraries show up in a regular web browser? View History is connected to your Google account that should follow you where ever you log into.

Yes..It works fine on browsers...the problem is localized on the apple tv. I've reset and relogged in and cleared cookies on it...

Right now, the question is if other ATV users are seeing this issue.

Ok. the problem was my Pi-Hole DNS server/ad blocker.
the iOS youtube apps... I found this problem on Atv3, iPhone and iPad, use a seperate network connection to a seperate youtube server to send this info. (Webbrowser it uses standard Youtube servers, I guess).
White listing that connection made everything work.
