When I try to download a file (image for example) I right click, select save image as and when I navigate to what folder I want to save image to, the page freezes. I can move the pointer and drag the download windo but cannot cancel or save. I have to do a force quit. This is with firefox. With safari, the images sometime never download completely.

This never occurred when I used High Sierra. It started when I installed Mojave. Very frustrating. Does anyone have any possibles solutions to this? Thank you!

Did a reinstall. And still does this. Very frustrating. Any help appreciated!

Ok tried Firefox (build 62.0.2) in safe mode. Still hangs in download window.
Tried starting Mojave in safe mode. Still does it.
Tried starting mojave in safe mode and then firefox in safe mode. Still does it.
This is a clean install of Mojave and Firefox. The only add-on to firefox is Ghostery.
No flash installed. No java installed.
Machine is a mid-2012 15" MBP with 8gigs ram. SSD hd.

I don't know what the issue could be.

If someone could try and replicate this with Mojave and firefox; right click a photo, save image as, and navigate to a few different folders to where you want to save the photo. If you get a hang, you will be able to drag the download window around but not be able to do anything. You will have to open something else up from the dock and then select force quit and quit firefox.

Thanks to anyone who is able to help.

Firefox issued a update today that solved the problem. 60.0.3
