(Solved) Play music on two separate AppleTV devices (like Amazon echo)?

I like how with Amazon Echo you can play music sync’d over two echos each independently connected to different stereos. This way you can go from room to room with music playing (or in my case two different areas of a large open living area— with my stereo and can’t do satellite speakers and I don’t want to).

I would simply use Echos but they don’t offer Optical Audio outputs and Apple TV does.

Researching it looks like there has been apps that allow this with iOS? But does it work just as good as echo?

You don't need any apps to do this. HomePods, AppleTVs, Macs, iPhones, and iPads do it natively with AirPlay 2.
