This has already been answered. It stands for apps that work on both iPhone and iPad. They are universal.

Just to clarify, my post was not in any way supposed to be mean. I did a search as well, and I can not find it. However, I remember reading it last night otherwise I would not have been able to tell you what they are. 🙂
