I just made the switch to OSX on Monday and so far I'm loving it. The only real hangup I've encountered so far is with my multifunction printer at work. It is a Sharp MX3100N and I can print B&W fine, but for color, a passcode is required to authenticate. In Windows, this occurs in the printer settings, but I can't find a similar setting in the Mac. Any ideas?
Well, I started digging more and found it. It was actually within the Printer Profiles (not through printer settings/preferences like I originally expected). I had to access it through an application with a "Print" option, then I was able to browse to "Job Handling", "Authentication" and could input my password. There goes my last lingering problem.
