Today, my girlfriend phoned AppleCare for the 3rd time, regarding various problems. Today she phone in reference to a weird problem that occurred after a startup. The screen remained black, and she had to sleep it for 15 - 20 minutes and it would then display correctly. Now, the guy on the phone was very helpful, and very honest. He told her something that i was unaware of regarding their policy on laptops. Something that isn't actually listed anywhere on their site or in their AppleCare packs. They tend not to take laptops back unless you have phoned 4-5 times regarding the same issue. Can anyone confirm this is true? That is disgusting if so! Rich.
