I just upgraded and restored from my backup and 60% of my apps aren't showing up. In iTunes they are checked under the Apps tab but they aren't on my springboard. Is this happening to anyone else?

Solution

Ok, I just figured out what the issue is...at least on my end. I recently migrated my itunes library to a new hard drive. Apparently I only migrated the music. I reconnected the old hard drive and the apps instantly appeared in the sorter window and synced without a problem.

I hope this helps.

Just a few days ago when I got my new iPhone 4, I did a backup of my 3Gs and then did a restore. Most of the apps transferred over but some did not. All I did was re-download them on my iPhone4. It does not charge you and tells you that it will be free since you already purchased the app.
