Does not say how many hogs have been killed during all those boring quests.

Level 1 = Go kill 10 hogs.

Level 25 = Go kill 100 hogs

For some crafting items, a 1000 had to be collected, lol. That is the nature of just about every MMORPG in existence*. Tasks, usually killing or harvesting tasks must be performed, and there are only so many tasks that can be performed, kill and collect seem to be the most consistently fun sad to say, although it had it's limits before it became grind.

*I know of one exception, (maybe there is more), but A Tale in the Desert is a crafting building MMO with limited scenarios (6 months, a year? I don't remember). It was ok, but I found it on the boring side. Items are harvested, things built and honestly I don't remember if the player could be killed attacking an animal, but I want to say they could be. There was no PVP when I tried it. Interesting that I am preparing to jump into another building game called Everquest Next: Landmark... ;)
