Not really a leak...it's how HomeKit is supposed to work right now with the current Apple TV, although in our reviews of HomeKit products, it's not working right.

Apple TV 3 is the current model. So all they're really saying is that a future Apple TV is not going to remove HomeKit functionality present in the current generation. That's not really much of a leak – especially considering that HomeKit is still in its early stages.
