yes. But i have downloaded the 9.2.1 Mac ROM to downgrade the firmware to boot OS 9
Admit you were wrong about the USB 2.0 and I'll tell you.

If that's the answer you want to go with I guess I'm done here.I technically wasn't wrong however I did word it improperly and caused a bunch of confusion. Sorry about that. I'll correct the post.
2nd on what model? Did you have OS 9 PowerMac G4 MDD's WITH FW800 cannot boot OS 9 at all, it's classic mode only for these guys).
Please guys update yourself a little. OS9 can boot in FW800 machines with latest (2014) advances.
Please take a look on latest updates on MacOS9Lives! and think classic. Now, every PowerMac MDD can run OS9. On MacOS9Lives! there is even a Universal OS9 disk that can fool some machines limitations.
So please, we all. Stop spreading OS9 don't run on MDD FW-800. Look on think-classic and OS9Lives! forums latest updates on it.
Look one happy FW-800 OS9 native user.

No, you were wrong. You stated that all eMacs and iMacs had USB 2.0, which is wrong.I technically wasn't wrong however I did word it improperly and caused a bunch of confusion. Sorry about that. I'll correct the post.

Keep digging, but I'll also point out that your post was incorrect because only SOME eMacs and iMac G4s have USB 2.0
This reply to one of your earlier posts doesn't agree.
Ok so I burned the ISO and stuck it in the MDD, it boots from it successfully but while on the Welcome to MacOS splash screen it black-screensno video. Any ideas?
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX.

Hmm... Might have something to do with it being a image for a iMac G4 not sure
I had OS9 working on my 1.25GHz FW400 MDD and I believe I used the Macintosh Garden OS9General.dmg file. IIRC I used Disk Utility to "Restore" the dmg to the MDD with the dmg as the source and the HDD as the destination.
Mac OS 9.2.2 Universal Installation, Bootable CD with Mac OS 9.2.2 Install
No Need to Install OS X !
No DMG or other image files Needed !
No Need for any Additional Updates or Patches !
This is the only KNOWN source of Mac Os 9.2.2 CPU 5.9!
I am not used to all of these new developments for 10 year old computers...Have a look at all the 2015 OS9 install methods
In the old days you have to restore with OSX to have a OS9 install. Now there is even a OS9 Install CD-ROM that installs on MDDs as if they where Sawtooth-DA or QS
There are 4 methods:
Restoring with OSX as MisterKeeks suggested. http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=1037.0
There is also a Mac OS 9.2.2 Install for Unsupported G4s - ISO CD
Also the Format & Drag files method.
Mac OS 9.2.2 Universal Install
Delete.
Redundant post.
