Not denying that.
And I'm looking forward to get the spigen glass and the case next week and using the iPhone 6, currently the original screen protection is still on it.
As I said, a concerned owner...

Yeah another bad sample on what normal usage of a phone is not
But you must admit that the resistance to bending is pretty low...

And as you won't believe me until:

"iPhone 6 Plus bent by pants"

Changed that for you to reflect the truth:

"iPhone 6 Plus bent by plants"

Samsung must have hired people to bend the iphone 6. It's time that apple should hire people to bend the note 3 :)

I can't believe this overblown story got so much press.

The real story is the ios update being so screwed up.

Lovely and curved, still working 12 years on...

If someone's new iPhone 6 Plus is bent like that, will it be covered
by accidental damage protection plans such as SquareTrade or
Asurion(which administers Verizon and other carriers' protection
plans)?

This story has got to be a dream come true for MacRumors!

What with their five Front Page stories and raging forum wars on this scam, they must be making ad-view money hand over foot.

The fellow who made the first YouTube video from unboxtherapy has 32,000,000 views and it's climbing another million views every couple hours - that's gotta be a $50,000+ payday for his little misinterpretation of the story.

Who needs accurate reporting when there's so much money to be made by bending the truth?

iPhone 6+ is so different users are finding its a whole new learning curve

Badda bing badda bong haha

The first video of the iPhone 6 Plus bending was a fake:
Notice the video shows the iPhone 6 Plus drastically bending at 1:40 minutes, and the time on the phone at that point displays 2:26 PM. The man in the video then proceeds to explain around 2:35 minutes into the video that he just finished bending the phone with his thumbs.

But there’s one problem with that version of events: The iPhone 6 Plus he supposedly “just” bent displays the time 1:59 PM around 2:45 minutes into the video, roughly 27 minutes before the smartphone is shown succumbing to little pressure.

haha great observation

Clearly Apple’s competitors are creating the hype to distract from their huge failures.

The force was so great he bent time itself.

Aluminum bends, don't sit on thin aluminum.

"Yesterday, I left at 10am with the iPhone in my left FRONT pocket of my suit pants. I drove 4 hours to a wedding, which also involved a lot of sitting during dinner etc but also 2-3 hours of dancing. I left at 2am and went to bed, driving home 4 hours back."

Did you assume he was driving while sitting on his front pocket, pulling some advanced yoga move, or did you insult a person without paying any attention to what he actually said?

Thanks!!

Admit what? That aluminum bends with enough force? Glass also shatters with enough force. Not just from dropping, but from pressing on it! Yet, you don't see people squashing their phones with their thumbs to prove it, right? Because it goes without saying. If you don't believe me and will agree to pay for my phone, I'll make a YouTube video to prove that I can break my phone one handed by pressing on the screen with my thumb. And yet, how worried are you about such a thing happening?

Put your phone in your front pocket. Sit down. Does the phone get pressed by the bend in your leg/waist? Unless you wear your pants up to your navel, it doesn't. So under what kind of normal usage do you foresee a very real risk of bending?

Apparently you have boxy legs.

My legs have a bit of a curve to them. I'm sorry for my genetic mutation.

The original post included a complaint of someone whose iPhone 6 Plus bent while it was in their front pocket.
