keys 4,r,f,v of my MBP 15,4 stopped working (i copied and pasted them into this post)
My password contains 2 of these letters and so I cannot log in.
I cannot copy and paste them because the v key is not working.
I cannot change my admin password because my installation cds got lost.
I have no external keyboard. What to do?

Can you copy and paste with the mouse (select and right click)?

You can get an external keyboard really cheap, any USB keyboard will work.

Also, Apple will sell you replacement install CDs for a small fee once you get to that point.

How I handled this problem:
1. log in into your guest account
2. turn on on-screen keyboard (system preferences -> international -> input menu -> keyboard viewer
3. change your admin password in system preferences -> accounts
4. log in with your new password and keep using on scren keyboard
