At lease one important text message thread has disappeared from my Messages app on iPhone 11 / iOS 16.5.1
I had the foresight to take a screenshot of one message, but not the entire thread.
I wouldn't have deleted this thread but I checked my Recently Deleted messages just to be 1000% sure and it's not there.
This thread was much less than 30 days old.
iPhone storage is nowhere near full.
iCloud storage is nowhere near full.
The sender is a very devious big name insurance company (I do realize the devious part is redundant). I mention this because I'm wondering if it's possible for a powerful entity to set their sent text messages to expire or auto-delete somehow.
Any ideas how I could retrieve this thread, or how it got deleted?
