Hello,

I have several mpeg files which do not play in QuickTime Player (Error -2048). They work in VLC but I would really prefer to watch them in QuickTime Player. So I wondered whether one of you has already had the same problem and whether there is a way to make them play in QuickTime Player.

Help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Greetings

Some mpegs can't play in QT because of the software that encoded them, what codec was used (I believe you can use multiple codecs in mpeg, right?), etc. Anyway, this Versiontracker search might prove useful for you to get those mpegs to play in QT. Enjoy!
