Greetings. I don't quite understand what iCloud is supposed to do.

1. Is iCloud similar to Dropbox or Microsoft's OneDrive? I.e., can I access iCloud to create folders? Move a file on my computer into a folder and then access the file from my iPad? Or is iCloud merely an adjunct to other Mac applications, such as Photos, iCal or iTunes?

2. I've shared my 50gb iCloud account with my wife. But she still has her own 50 gb iCloud account. When she makes purchases in iTunes, her purchases get transferred to my devices and their paid for through my Apple ID account. But on her devices, she is logged into her own iCloud account. So, when she takes photos, they go into her own photo stream, not the photo stream associated with my iCloud account.

3. Id like to get able to get rid of my wife's 50gb iCloud and share the 50gb storage on my account. But if she deletes her iCloud account from my phone and then logs into iCloud using my Apple ID/Password, wont iCloud think she's me? Will she get my photo stream pictures? My notices?

4. How can I view the documents and other files in my iCloud account? When I go into "manage storage" all I see is a list that says "Encrypted Files". How do I find out what the files are?

Thanks in advance.
