Hey, I have 2 questions. I have a Summer 2011 MacBook Air 11 and i was wondering:

1) If the laptop dies and i plug it in and press power it turns on but only shows a black screen with no cursor, i have to turn off by holding down the power button then turn it back on to use it. Is there any way to fix this?

2) If i manually set my screens brightness how can i set it back to adjust automatically?

1) Are you plugging it in and pressing the power button like literally seconds after you plug it in? If so, i may not have enough charge registered to even run everything...wait a few more seconds maybe?

2) As long as you don't turn off "Adjust screen brightness automatically in system prefs (I think thats what it says...) It will still automatically adjust in bright or dim light...even if you used the "F" keys to adjust it manually...I think it just goes off of a percentage of what you set...so your like setting the middle ground...If that makes any sense...but long post short, don't touch that in system preferences and it will still adjust automatically.
