We sit down to do something , like edit a book or video and he goes off on this whole new learning experience. A half hour task goes on for like 4 hours, it's insane. I don't knoww whats going on so I can't complain.
Has anyone maxed-out everything you can do on a Mac laptop.

Be glad he's not just spending his time on games or Facebook. When he complains of running out of horsepower, buy him a new machine. His interest and motivation will pay off in your retirement (that he'll pay for!) 😀

I know i personally get bored and try to learn new things. Thats why Discovery and History channels are ALWAYS on in my room. I'd say encourage it.

i dont see anything wrong with that. i would be worried if your son spent his saturday nights locked in his room playing WOW lol. If i have a son one day and he starts to go the WOW route i will take him out and introduce him to girls myself lol.
