Has anyone noticed that some websites don't scroll as smoothly as others on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max?

Perfect example:

macrumors.com doesn't scroll as smoothly as wikipedia.org.

Any theories as to what's causing this?

Could it be the countdown applet on MacRumors? Or perhaps the blocked ads/social media buttons on MacRumors?

Edit: When I scroll up and down the MacRumors website with Chrome (no ad blockers) the scrolling is perfectly fluid. When I do the same on Safari (Purify ad blocker) the scrolling is less than fluid. It's almost certainly gotta be a side effect of Purify.

I use AdBlock Pro on Safari. Perfectly smooth no matter if it is MacRumors or Wikipedia. I have not encountered a website that does not scroll smoothly for me on my 13 Pro Max.

Try a different blocker. It's possible that when a tracker is blocked, something else keeps pinging it, and thus resulting in unnecessary CPU/network usage resulting in the less smooth scrolling.

I switched already. Purify hasn't been updated in three years. I'm using AdGuard now, which was updated three weeks ago.
