You can close 3 apps at the same time... I think they should add an option so that if you drag the springboard preview up it will prompt you to kill all apps and clear switcher.

They should also add drag down to the safari switcher preview to scroll through tabs

Ohh, the three app swipe is a great trick, thanks! Still an animation to kill all at the same time would look kind of cool, like a deck of cards.
