I don't get the slow animation complaints.. Iv never noticed it being to slow.. Or at least iv never been bothered by it.. Perhaps they should just add an option to disable animation for people who are impatiently OCD.. Doesn't bother me at all.. Or maybe its just slow on some phones ::/

It's not slow as in they lag. It's slow as in they take awhile to finish compared to iOS 6.

What I'm most bothered by is the speed at which I can kill apps from the multi tasker. I should be able to flick away cards as fast as my finger can swipe.

Not lag but its slower than ios 6 in animations like Double Clicking homebutton it's faster on ios 6
Edit: Someone already beat me to it :)

I hadn't noticed..i guess i would need to be side by side with ios 6... I was jailbroken on ios 6 though.. Maybe thats why i don't notice a difference

Another thing that boggles me is they didn't put a button saying "Clear All" witch will clear out the whole multitasking tray :(

Application I'm using the most is whatsapp and I'm more excited about seeing the iOS 7 verdion of that rather than b4. Actually I'm not even sure if there will be a complete redesign for whatsapp.

Since this has become the default beta 4 discussion thread, can someone change the title to reflect that?

You can close 3 apps at the same time... I think they should add an option so that if you drag the springboard preview up it will prompt you to kill all apps and clear switcher.

They should also add drag down to the safari switcher preview to scroll through tabs

Yes good idea

Exactly they add all those features but no way to Clear all apps

Even better dragging up the springboard preview should give you the following options
-Clear all apps
-Reboot
-power down

Drag down should be a universal API for apps that have multiple instances.. For example safar would scroll through tabs

Also tapping on any empty area of the task switcher should close it... Just like a single tsp on the home button

And they never will. At the keynote, Craig made a point of saying "Multitasking for all apps WITH GREAT BATTERY LIFE." They don't want to give off the appearance that their multitasking negatively effects battery life to the point that the user needs to babysit it at all times.

They spent a long time using Android as an example of how multitasking can be a bad thing on a mobile device (right, wrong, or indifferent). They aren't going to go back on that now.

It isn't just about battery life... Some people just like to clear out the switcher.. Im sure the jailbreak community will do some cool stuff with the nee switcher :)
