I'm running jailbroken 2.0.2 firmware (with Quickpwn) right now, and want to upgrade to 2.1, then re-jailbreak..
(I'm running Windows Vista, by the way)
    So...

First, I'd shift-restore to the stock 2.0.2 firmware in itunes 7.7

Then I'd upgrade to firmware 2.1 in itunes 7.7.

I'd upgrade itunes to itunes 8, and re-sync the phone with that.

Then I'd download the new version of Quickpwn, and run that on the stock 2.1 firmware.

Is is really this simple? Or am I missing something?
Wanted to check before I dove in, in case this will mess some stuff up!

I don't think it's possible to update to 2.1 or even have your iPhone get sync'd with 2.1 if your iTunes is below 8.

    maybe I'm wrong....just maybe?

    Ok...

So then the process would be:

    1. shift-restore to stock 2.0.2 firmware in itunes 7.7
    2. upgrade to itunes 8
    3. upgrade to 2.1 firmware on iPhone
    4. use Quickpwn to jailbreak 2.1

You could also skip a step and go straight from jailbroken 2.0.2 -> 2.1 then QuickPwn. That's what I did.

    1. Upgrade to iTunes 8
    2. Upgrade to 2.1
    3. QuickPwn

    DONE :)
