...but, when they come, they will have built in dynamically expanding 30" LCD's, 12x4GHz G5's, 2x6800 Mobiles, and standard 32GB RAM (DDR100000).

And they will only be 1 inch thick!!!!!

Nah the next PB in addition to being G5, with 2GB RAM, and a 100GB HDD, that still looks very cool, is less than 1 inch thick, dazzling fast that comes loaded with up to five different third party professional programs of your choice that you can pre-select from any of the software available from the Apple shop... also automatically determines how you like your coffee in the morning and via using alarms in iCal automatically makes it for you at the predetermined time.

Actually, they're right about the new PBs not having a keyboard and being voice-interactive. They will be run by an intelligent chip similar to the one used in KITT in Knight Rider. Even have the KITT voice.

David Hasselhoff told me that, and after all, why would he lie?

The dude is an alcoholic, they lie almost as much as lawyers and politicians.

Apple decides that 17" screens are way to dinky. Say hello to the 35" PowerBook. Due to the massive area available, it is a liquid cooled 3Ghz G5 with 2 PCI-X slots and an Ultra 6800. 4 FireWire ports, 2 FW800 ports, an amazing 6 USB 2.0 ports, and a built in 8.1 surround sound system 'round the screen. It has an anti-gravity system built in, so it weighs nothing and so you cannot drop it. The screen folds down to 1/10th the size, so it is uber-trasportable. The keyboard is full-sized and even has the numerical pad off to the right. It can go forever at maximum processor power, due to a miniature fusion reactor built in. It is perfectly safe, too.

It also is made out of carbon-fiber, so you can throw it against a wall and damage the wall more than the PowerBook.

Thanks guys, I needed a laugh. :)

But Seriously, I hope they at least announce an update in January. I don't care what it is, I'll buy it. My trusty 800mhz iBook will do for now.

The chemical reaction in the clouds form PowerBooks so Now it rains PowerBook's some as large as 17"!! Too bad they shatter when they hit the ground!

there'll be the standard powerbooks in 12", 15", and 20" sizes (1024x768, 1280x854 and 1680x1050 of course), all with a 9800 mobility with 512mb of vram and 7200rpm drives and 2gb standard of ram and a 2 button trackpad and they'll be 1.1 inches thick and have a 9hr battery life and be made of carbon fiber coated in diamond dust for ultimate strength

with a 1.7ghz g4 in it.
oh yeah, and they'll make a "powerbook mini" with a 10" wxga screen and a 1.8" hard drive and no optical drive, with a 1-button pointstick and a smaller keyboard and a 1.33ghz g4 and 768mb non-expandable ram and a 32mb 5200 ultra in a package that's 7x9x1.5", weighs 1.9lbs and has a 4hr battery life.
