i am perishing at the attempt to understand how to publish my website to sitesled.com I have successfuly uploaded files through an ftp program called cyberduck, but i'm stuck when i get to the file manger and really don't know what the junk i'm doing. the moderators on sitesled are very helpful but i feel they don't get how iweb works so I feel like they and me are flies banging against a window. help please?

i don't know anything about sitesled, never heard of them before or used them. but can you give us an idea of the directory that you're uploading to?

make sure you're files are in the public html folder...

is a state of mind.

iWeb publishes everything to a folder on your local computer. What you want to upload is everything in that folder, but not the folder itself. The file that the webserver is looking for is called "index.htm" or "index.html" That file is your "main" webpage. If your website is called http://www.sitesled.com/ME then all of those files should reside in the top most directory that sitesled provides you. If you uploaded the folder+contents then you should be able to access your website by going to http://www.sitesled.com/ME/MY_FOLDER -OR- http://www.sitesled.com/ME/MY_FOLDER/index.htm -OR- http://www.sitesled.com/ME/MY_FOLDER/index.html

Does that help?

That being said...I know nothing about sitesled...
