ok my question is simple.......i m used to qwerty keyboard in which i write nething. nething means slangs. now my question is will the iphone' s autocorrect feature understand the short forms. coz in other phones i can just switch off the t9 nd use keyboard whtever way i like. but in iphone which has already a difficult keyboard feature will i be able to type as fast i did on my blackberry.

wow. learn to speak english. but in answer to your quesion, you don't have to accept apple's suggestion on what it thinks you are trying to type. you have to press the space button to accept the change.

I hope, for your sake, that it auto-corrects your typing. Anytime I see someone "type lik dis" I lose respect for the human race.

Hey sorry man, just friendly banter. Yes, it's not your English class, but remember that most of the people reading this are really big nerds, therefore are going to love to point out things that make us look smarter - including grammar. It doesn't matter if it's the time or place, we all just have to realize that you are communicating through words... so how they are used will have an effect even if its not the one you wanted

No problem. To truely answer your question, I think the phone will learn your own words and even use them to correct yourself later on.
