Hello all.

I am currently using an AudioBox with 2 inputs. It is plugged into my Late 2013 iMac 27".

In Logic, I use Amplitube (IK Multimedia) as a plugin for the electric guitar sounds.

When I use the iMac's speakers as the output, I often get tons of latency. When I unplug the USB cable and re-plug it back in, it works. A year ago, I never had that issue.

However, when I use the AudioBox as the output device and use headphones, there is no latency.

Oddly enough, in Garageband, I never have latency issues when using the System Default as the output.

Is there any way around this? When I'm just coming up with song ideas, I don't want to be stuck with headphones. I have not touched any settings so I have no idea why it has started to do this.

The AudioBox has fallen off of my desk a couple of times so could it have to do with that? Even though the issue is only in Logic so far?

Thank you

Have you checked the audio buffer settings in Logic? Make sure it's no higher than 64 samples.
