... make me so happy!

Ages ago, I bought a cheap 10.1" monitor to use on my old Windows box. (Mostly I use Windows app to access it in full screen, but sometimes need to see display before that can work. E.g. when something goes wrong.)

Yesterday, I suddenly thought to connect my M4 mini to the same monitor (it has two ports). And move my Messages window to it. Am so glad I did that. For me, I can see the top six contacts. New messages just appear. And I only need to flick my eyes across/down.

Why didn't I do that ages ago? Just me being stupid. I don't care that the colour quality isn't wonderful. Nor that it defaults to 960x600. It just keeps messages somewhere else not interfering with what I am doing.

I did that with my 15.6" "Portable" monitor that I use when traveling with my MacBook. When I'm home, it's used as a 2nd on my Mac mini. I even 3D printed a magnetic "Holder" for it.
