sometimes the TB black out?

This is the 2nd or 3rd time since I bought the laptop. When I turned it on, the touch bar is black with nothing on it and not even showing under prefrences/keyboard!?
-If I power it down/reboot TB is back on again

Either one. But if I had to choose one, I'd do a PRAM/NVRAM reset first, since that's more likely to resolve the issue.
