I might be on my own here, and if so just ignore this, but is the song of the day really exciting news? I know there are some slow news days (the past 3, if MacBytes is to be believed), but there are currently 4 "Songs of the Day" in the MacBytes column on the main MacRumors page, and the only other "news" article is the poll.

Is there be some way to limit the number of Songs of the Day in the MacBytes column? I think I'd probably prefer to see links to news articles from a couple of days ago than a list of songs.

To be honest I really don't pay much attention to that stuff in the corner to really mind it.

News didn't stop, but we do sometimes have days (including this last weekend) when we don't keep up with the normal MacBytes submissions. It happens now and then, but overall our average is pretty good.
