    Hey all,

Does anyone know of a faster way to remove unwanted characters (e.g., track numbers) from the song title in iTunes?

    Here is an example:

    09 09 [2] - 09 - Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! (Take 7 & Effects Tape)

I want to remove everything but the title of the song, is there a program that can remove that information automatically?

If anybody has any suggestions on how to fix this it would make my life easier.

You can edit everything out that you want in the Get Info. page. Once there, edit out what you want.

There are a number of scripts that can be used to clean up tag information in iTunes, as well as filenames. Check out Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes.

That doesn't answer the OP's question:

I'm surprised I haven't heard of that script site before. It's awesome. Thanks.
