i've looked everywhere for a sega cd emulator for a mac but i couldn't find one. i really want to play sonic cd but i can't find a way. has anybody found a successful way to play it? or am i out of luck?

There are Sega CD (and thusly, Sonic CD) emulators for Windoze:

Not aware of any for the Mac though. The Mac is generally poorly catered for with regards to emulation.

[Insert usual legal stipulations attached to emulation here.]

If you look in the forums on www.emuscene.com, you will find that a beta of a sega cd emulator named Gens has been released somewhat recently for Intel Macs. It uses Apple's X11, so make sure that you have that installed as well (found on the discs that came with your computer).

Otherwise, you will need to figure out the rest yourself...Good luck!
