Sonoma desktop widget with functionality like iStat Menu?

Like the subject says, is there any system monitoring tool similar to iStat Menu (or even Activity Monitor) that works as a desktop widget instead of sitting in the menu bar? Paid is fine (prefer one-time to subscription, though).

I’m not entirely sure if that’s even possible with the API available for widgets. There’s limitations on execution time and you generally are supposed to submit tinelines of updates in advance as much as possible.

That said it’s an interesting idea that I might look into as a hobby project at some point if it is feasible. Also curious to hear here if you get an existing solution for this
