With this discount, the Sonos Ace are available for $399, down from $449. These headphones launched back in May as a direct competitor to the AirPods Max. They support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, dynamic head tracking, and a 30 hour battery life.

This sale also includes a collection of bundles of devices like the Arc soundbar, Sub Mini, Era 100 speaker, Move 2 speaker, and more. We've added a few of these bundles to the list below, but be sure to browse the Sonos website to see everything on sale before it ends on September 8.

I know their app is having problems today, but their speakers generally have been pretty decent. I've got a bunch of Ones, and a soundbar that generally have been set it and forget it, like you should for any speaker, and use airplay or HDMI all the rest without need to reboot. Very consistent if network conditions are stable, and would recommend Ones over Homepods or Echos.

Key word however was 'set'. The old app in combination with setting up speakers from scratch again (changing pairing) was a pain. How many times do I need to hard reset a device so it is discoverable again? Once past that point, attempt to join a network would fail during the wizard was a frustration for a few hours.

Sorry to ask but maybe I'm not really a big user of their app — I have a Sonos Beam 2 for like a year and been using with airplay + TV speaker and quite enjoy it, with no issues at all. I only use their app to check sometimes if some movie is using Atmos or not, but for nothing else.

Why is people complaining lately about their app? Just opened it now and yes, I remember the old UI but this new UI doesn't seem bad as well. Or is some functionality that is broken? (again, I don't use it other than for checking the output sound type).

Trust. It’s gone, That’s the problem. Today it’s app, tomorrow it could be firmware update that bricks the speaker.

I'm in the market for a soundbar for the main TV, a year ago would have purchased a Sonos no contest but not even in consideration now. Gross anti-consumer company.

But trust why? Because they changed the UI? Isn't that part of a product evolution (if for the better)?

Maybe they're trying to get rid of old stock before announcing the Sonos Arc 2? 🤞

They've got some pretty good discounts...

...but I think they're going to need to lower the price way more to get all their offended customers interested again. :p
The company is dead to everyone without massive discounts and fixed company good will.

Today is the first shipping day of Ubiquity's PowerAmp, also called the Sonos killer, since it is $100 cheaper and better integrated.
