Sony a6000 successor

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a successor for the Sony a6000 in development, but I'm not sure if this thread belongs here. I like everything the a6000 brings to the table, especially price, but I don't like the low-light performance or lack of 4k. Any ideas/speculation?

The low light performance of the a6000 is superb, so I'm not sure what your concerns are based on. That said, it largely depends on the glass being used.

I can't help with regard to a successor, but I can tell you that this is by far the most enjoyable camera I've ever owned (and I've had a lot!) and happy to share some sample images of mine if you like.

I also love my a6000. However I'm a beginner and cannot seem to force the camera adjust to manual focus.

If low light is an important criteria, might take a look at the Fuji XE2 or XT1. DPR has noise level comparisons with drop down menus for various cameras. Though you will take a hit in continuous AF. Assume you mean raw.

You'll have more money in a Fuji system as their lenses don't come cheap.
