Actually I'm selling stuff off madly because I have far too much, and a lot of the same type of lenses. By the time I've finished I will be down to just six.

Six? How would one cope?
10.5mm to 14-24mm to 50 mm prime to 24-70mm to 70-200mm (or 70-300mm) to 200-500mm. Plus my favourite 105mm macro.

No I need all eight of mine. Could do with a 600mm f4, 1.4 TC (I only have the 2x TC) and a tilt and shift as well!

Ah you bugger - I don't have a macro! Now you've started me off again 😱
What I will have to use is what is in my signature, except that I no longer need the Takumar 50mm (my Nikon is better) and I rarely use the FE 50mm.
I will keep the FE 50mm as it's the only AF I have in that size.

Obviously,if you have a bunch of Sony lenses,buying a different camera is probably not within reasonable budget. The original Sony A to E-mount converters work great for most purposes,I even used my old Minolta 100-400 with 2x teleconverter withouth problems.

Enjoy. I love my macro lens. Gets plenty of camera time compared to some of the others.
