I haven't had any problems out of sprint and i like their service. Do anyone that actually have the T608 phone have any negative things about the phone to report?

Ok I got my T608 phone over the weekend, and it looks/works great!!! This is the best phone I have ever owned. Can anyone get Romeo to work with this phone?

I read that you cannot use the phone with the Vision unlimited data plan since Sprint doesn't want you to use the phone as a modem and since I have Vision I am wondering if this means I am not able to use it.

I wonder if there is a plan that would allow this. I'm playing on getting a PB, and i'd love to be my own hot spot. I wonder what the connect rates are right now.

Have you tried using Romeo or Salling clicker with this phone

I've heard that if you already have the unlimited Vision plan and get the T608 your unlimited Vision will be grandfathered in.

jiggie2g: While you are right that GSM can have better voice quality than CDMA, the coverage is just not there in the U.S. If you never stray from a metropolitan area where GSM happens to be good, then you'll have no problem with it unless the provider has issues (Cingular/T-Mobile is crap here in L.A.). However, if you travel off the beaten path, then GSM coverage is lacking. Coupled with the lack of analog service in GSM phones, you'll find yourself without service in areas where a CDMA phone can at least get an analog signal. With GSM, you have no access to roaming on the plethora of small carriers found in less populated sections of the country. Because of the better coverage, CDMA voice quality ends up being consistently better than GSM.

Oh, and by the way, the VX6000 is not made by Sanyo (it's an LG phone), and is by no means the hottest phone on CDMA, though it is the hottest phone on Verizon, at least until the Samsung a610 comes out tomorrow (rumored). And while Verizon does not have a very good selection of high tech phones, Sprint is pretty good about keeping up with the latest (excepting Bluetooth). Check out their Sanyo VM4500.

FYI: In my pocket is an LG VX6000 on Verizon.
