Wow! I am impressed with the specs of this camera so much that I pulled the trigger and placed my order tonight.

SD- SDHC In a Sony, I never thought I would live to see the day :)

    Sony DSC-HX5V/B

    Media card slot

For convenient storage and sharing of your images, the DSC-HX5V accepts Memory Stick Duo™/Memory Stick PRO Duo™/Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo™ media (sold separately) and SD/SDHC media.

Yes, their dSLR's had two slots, an SD or CF in addition to the MSDuo.

My favorite, Olympus, is dropping their xD memory slots for SD, and came out with a MicroSD to xD adapter (for their older cameras). Their dSLR's have had just CF for a while now.

    When will these companies learn?

When will these companies learn that consumers like widely implemented standards. I shall forge my rant on the failure that is Mini DisplayPort.
