Sony HDR-SR10 questions...

Is it still spinning?
Sounds like a dead drive.

It is not spinning. It is a HDR-SR10 camcorder.
When i set it up for format, it takes some few seconds and after that, it displays the message "Unable to access HDD".
I dont hear it spinning after this.......

mac can't recognize avchd

while, avchd is a special video file format recorded by sony, canon, panasonic camcorder, a kind of hd video that can't be import to mac directly, you need to convert your avchd to mov or mp4 format that can be imported to mac directly

Sony Handy cam -External Video to copy in my sony handy can

Can anyone tell me how to add the video (Movies) in to my sony handy cam ..I tried to copy all the format but it doesn't work.

When i try to click photos or record videos, it displays "HDD Format Error".
I tried to format the HDD, but at the end, it displayed "Unable to access HDD".

Can anyone faced a similar issue before and resolved it by troubleshooting?

Pls let me know.
