man any ear phones that isnt IEM, I'm interested in. Kinda interested in the bone vibration method of delivering music. There is only one other earphone that does it this way and it's so niche that I didn't dare to try it out.

That being said, it does look like hearing aid which I think greatly benefits me. I'm destine to be single so I don't give a **** about cute girls seeing me with this and laugh. I get special treatment if people think I am disabled and will often avoid me or give me special treatment in public transit like moving away from me so i get to walk in peace and no one will intrude my personal space. They might also talk to me softly and politely because they think i am hard of hearing or something so I dont get PTSD from all the rude people around me yelling like a moron.

The fact that it auto adjust volumes based on the environmental noise is a great touch. That way I don't need to take it off to converse with people which makes faking the disability even more convincing. I actually can't wait to get it

I’d rather rock one of these. The. I’d get the whole bench seat on the bus to myself.

So silly, if i want music i dont wanna hear outside sound of music isnt clear i like the full sound this looks like a hearing aid, tech companys really try but sorry airpods are the best

Airpods don't even have active noise cancellation, or even a decent sound-tight fit, and sound pretty meh (partially because they have to overcome ambient sound).

I have the full-size Sony WH1000XM2 and they're absolutely phenomenal. Very nice that I can have full noise cancellation or various levels of voice transparency (while still blocking out ambient sound). The hidden touch-sensitive controls are also very handy.

This might not be for everyone but it's cool to see companies try new techs and see what works. This seems like an Augmented Reality for audio.

You like the tampon look over hearing aids I get it.
I’ll stick with my Jaybird freedoms. I like to be closed off from everything around me.
If the tampon is sticking out like the air pods' rod, you are doing it wrong...
But the air pods' design are indeed very un-apple like, where they could improve how it looks.

Lesson learned

ok lots of hate due mostly to how they look like hearing aids ... and I agree.

What a lot of us are missing is the technology that's gone into this ...

Full Specs page:

Quad microphone with beamforming Noise suppression, Adaptive volume control, Echo and Wind noise cancellation, Clear PhaseTM, Dynamic driver unit on each core unit, Codecs SBC/AAC.

Controls:
Touchpad on each core unit
Head Gesture capability

Apple could debut more microphones on future headsets as well as gesture controls vs just tap.

Let's see just what this year brings with Bluetooth stereo in-ear true wireless headphones.

I wouldn't be surprised if most counties don't ban them also, it's a huge safety thing.

Not really, I have ear plugs on while riding my Motorbike, I can ride just fine and in 10 years i’ve Never had an accident with someone else... only on ice by myself.

Can’t the deaf ride bicycles? Besides ANC is better because it means your content doesn’t have to be so loud.
