Sony's answer to the iMac

I wrote a nice little comment on YouTube 🙂

I've seen one of those in person, and it does look quite nice. But it is so underpowered! Read the specs on Sonys site, for the same price you can get an iMac that is twice as good from a hardware standpoint! Not to mention that it is 1000 times better from a software standpoint...
 
My first thought was that he was making a joke or a parady or something and in the end he would pull out an iMac...

If this really is the competition, then I understand why it took so long for my iMac to arrive 😀 Picking it up tomorrow.
 
I like Sony. But that is definitely sub-par. I wonder who they contracted the idea and design work out to?
 
That thing is ugly. I i had no choice and had to get a PC i would rather have a full tower instead of that computer.
 
So it's ugly, but Apple could learn a thing or two from the express card slot and card reader. At the very least, since the iMac is AIO, the express card reader would add some functionality beyond WYSIWYG.
 
The front actually doesn't look bad, the profile and the back are a different story however... A good step for Sony, but they have a while to go.
 
It looks pretty in a sort of "completely ignore ergonomics for looks" way. Specs are crap. Keyboard is an even bigger mess than the new Apple one. Price is WAY too high.
 
When he was talking about VAIO Media and he said 'It reminds of Windows Media Player, cept its actually...', I could have sworn he was going to say 'cept its actually...Front Row'

Yes the Sony is overpriced and low on specs....but its beautiful in person...

The Vaio or the hpish...oh wait the apple....Vaio in a heatbeat

it looks like a laptop, but it isn't.
way to go. now i can buy a computer with the erganomic capability of a laptop, and the portability of a desktop.

It ADDS like .5GHz with the "Intel Inside" stickers. 😎 LOL

Notebooks are the worst, half a dozen!
