Sorry, but no. Touch controls to move Nathan Drake around sounds just painful. Just like any console game that has physical controls on a console simply don't work on mobile. I've played the FIFAs, the GTAs, Deus Ex, Bioshock, etc - all games that got ported to iOS with touch controls. I played them for a little while on my iPad and I end up playing them back on a console due to having a controller.
Nintendo has the right idea in bringing games to mobile by changing the controls and game mechanics to fit in with touch screens. I hope Sony takes cues from them.

Uncharted games are so guided anyway that touch controls could actually work.

Why ewww?
I'm on the run, so I'll keep it short and simple:

mobile games have all sorts of problems, like their locked down system they run (mostly an iOS issue) or the often poor gameplay of the game itself.
Controls are weird (you can add a controller, but not all are compatible with all games...), IAPs are in many cases a plague, updates often change the game too often too much (personal taste, but mostly an issue of game preservation), DRM is quite strong, always digital-only, which I hate to no end 99% of the time.

I'm a gamer and collector, so I'd rather have the "good games" on platforms that are a bit more collector-friendly, even though as collector (and archivist) you're seeing a downwards trend on most platforms.

How come? Focus? I don't have an opinion either way. Just curious on your perspective.
See above, but I could talk about it plenty more. I've thought about making YouTube videos or something to debate these things and also have something to refer people to with embedded evidence or other aspects that lead me to some of my assertions and estimations.

Maybe recommend or even require a Mifi controller then?
Still agree the hardware would have to be more powerful to drive such a game, but with Apple doing quite big leaps in graphics performance every year (how long will it last?) with a new version of their A chips, I wouldn't count it out.
