my dad went to the states and i told him to get me a macbook so i ordered the white macbook with 2ghz 1gig ram and 80gigs harddrive , anyways im wondering if i a little later i can put some 7200rpm harddrive

Sure, dead easy, although expect a) the laptop to run a bit warmer and b) the battery life to be a bit less as a result.

The HDD bay is easily accessed once the battery is removed.
