SOOOO Stoked for my new Macbook!!

My boss is getting me a Macbook, he has offered to pay for an entire 13" MBP (I found a 13" 2.6 C2D for the max he is willing to go on the refurb section)

But even better... I was able to come up with some $$ to put towards it and if he says YES I am going to order the 15" i5 today!!! I am just waiting on his reply (since he has to cover it all on the account)

Besides my iMac (for design work) I have an OLD Powerbook G4 that I am going to donate once I get my new one!! This is going to be a HUGE upgrade for me 🙂

Either way, I will have a sweet sweet new Unibody-MBP and the best part is I already have an Intel X-25 SSD to pop-in it once I get the beast!
 
Will it belong to the company? I only ask since you are looking to put money into it (to get the 15")
 
No it will be mine outright, this is basically instead of an end-of-year bonus (which i'll gladly take!)

How do you like your i7?? I will prob. opt for the i5 as that is as high as I'd like to go right now... but I work on an i7 iMac and its sweet 🙂
 
Pulled the trigger and got the 15" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core i5.

This just made my christmas 🙂 and I have a trip to ATL coming next week so it's perfect timing too.

Well, at least you'll have one whole week with MBP, enjoy it while it lasts.
 
Congrats! I have the 15" i5 and just LOVE it! It replaced my 2004 G4 PowerBook and all I can say is WOW! What a difference...😀:apple:

Racially motivated? I'm sorry, I didn't realize basing my statements off pure facts (Atlanta has one of the highest crime rates in America) meant I was being racist.
 
Congrats... You will love the trackpad. That's about the only thing imo that is major. Everything else is basic Apple install/uninstall. Sorry I'm still a fan of Tiger 10.4 . The removal of SMS in Address book 🙁

Makes perfect sense to me. Nobody vacations in ATL except for...😱
People have a hard enough time trying to escape that hell-hole.

Why is it that people are so quick to shout: Racist!...? It's just a really, really crappy city.
