Sorry... I'm having a brainfreeze. (Warranty question)

    I'm out of Applecare with my Macbook. However, I'm having a software problem with my dock.

    I can still set up a genius bar appointment, right? The 1yr/3yr Applecare is just for repairs... right? I just want them to fix my "Coreservices -> Dock" folder. That won't cost me anything, right?

    it is free for them to look at-- if it is just a software issue that should be free also

    any hardware problems will cost you

    Why waste a trip to the Apple Store when this forum is full of Mac guru's who'll no doubt be able to help you with your problem?
