Click to expand... Yeah it seems the events feature has been taken out from iPhoto. Terrible move, that was a great way of sorting photos.

Click to expand... i made a smart album for EVERYTHING (but minus my work photos), and in that album, unchecked 'sort by name'. of course, a smart album can follow all sorts of rules...

Click to expand... what rules did you set up? mine is simply "Date is after 1/1/2004"...and new photos (ie from my phone) show up there. remember that the sync with icloud can take some time...
