Hi guys,

I just received my new maxed out RiMac today. Actually, it's my first Mac! :)

I have a pair of Denon DH-7000's which I bought a couple of years ago and I'd like to continue using it with my Mac. I've searched the net for an adequate headphone sound card (6,3 mm jack), without any luck.

Is there anything you guys could recommed? I used to have an Asus Essence STX in my PC, which I was very happy with. Is there anything that's comparable with the STX and that's OSX compatible?

I might also game a little on this computer, so if the sound card would support Dolby Digital, that'd be a huge plus. Although, that isn't something I prioritize right now as I know it might be hard finding an all-around soundcard with gaming functions. Also, I do play alot of FLAC music files.

I did find a sound card called "Apogee Duet 2", is that something that would suit me, or is it made for music production?

EDIT: I'd also like that the sound card would be compatible with Wndows (8), as I am going to use bootcamp a lot.
