So I've noticed an odd sound problem after updating to Sonoma that I never noticed prior. For background here is the Signal Chain and setup of my Mac Mini M2:
- MacMini M2 -> Denon AVR (HDMI) -> TCL TV
- Software: Sonoma - eqMac to control volume and do some minor EQ for sound and music.
- Brave Browser - Youtube
Since the update whenever I'm watching youtube video if I get a notification or use iMessage the sound while youtube is playing a video gets heavily distorted momentarily and then returns to normal. At 1st I thought it was only when Notifications happened. But then I noticed it happened while sending message via iMessage too. I don't notice this happening while using Apple Music though. So I'm thinking maybe it's more a Brave Browser or Youtube issue rather than Sound issue itself with MacOS or my mini.
Any ideas?

Here the same with Spotify and Qobuz music players. Distortion for a few seconds and back to normal. Every ~15 min.
Mac mini Pro, Sonoma 14.1

Is it coinciding with notifications or using iMessage. I've noticed this on my mine. I have mine hooked up to AV receiver. I find if I switch system sounds to Mac it doesn't happen.
