iPod Sound issues?

I have a iPod Classic 80GB waiting for me in my parents closet for X-Mas. I been hearing some people say the volume is so poor and very quiet. I also hear it is in EU only Classics. Is that true? Is it only in the EU classic? Is the Classic volume the same as all other iPods in the US?

Hi,

The volume is capped on EU models , not sure if it is on USA models.
You can probably uncap it , so don't worry to much about it 😉

But what I've done is use a different set of earbuds with my iPod Nano (EU) and the volume is very loud now.

Yeah I hope it is not capped in US. If so I might have to buy some new earbuds if so.
