This is a strange one, and one I'm not sure I've ever encountered before -

I was watching a broadcast on Twitch (like YouTube but real time) and I closed the Twitch tab, yet the audio kept playing. So, so bizarre. Then even after Command + Q 'ing to close Safari completely, the sound STILL kept playing, for about 3 to 5 seconds.

Anyone know why this occurs? I'm more intellectually curious than anything.

And has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Thanks

seems like a moment where some of safari's resources are still active, after the app was 'quit'; like the audio is cached, and finishing up. if it happens often, i'd be concerned, but once... doesn't seem that odd.

Thanks man, appreciate the input. That's more or less what I was thinking, as well.
