Sound not working in game apps

so i just got the iphone 4 yesterday and have downloaded some apps
the thing is sound only works through headphones. is this normal?

that would make a difference?
in some of my other apps the sound works. it's only the games that dont

Try switching your silent switch to "off" (so that it isn't on silent mode). That will most certainly fix it.

Turn off your vibrate switch or turn up the volume.
