Hey, I have an iPod that's about 2/1.5 years old (I have no idea what generation it would be) and recently (like, as of yesterday) sound is only coming out of one side. I've switched through a couple pairs of headphones since I thought it was them that were the problem, and even bought a new pair today, but find the headphones work fine when they're connected to my computer but not my iPod.

    Any ideas?

sounds like a problem with the headphone jack

you can buy replacements that are self installed and come with tools and such (i would assume that this very much voids any warranty)

or you could spend a lot at an apple shop to have it repaired...

his ipod is to old to have a warranty so it shouldn't matter

you can repair it yourself as samwise said, or you can find someone to overcharge you to fix it for you. i recommend the first.
good luck with whatever you decide.

Sorry, but I can't resist: "Sound only coming out of one ear".... shouldn't sound be going INTO your ears? You may want to check with a doctor to find out why your ear is making noises! :D
